Product Care

To ensure your custom decals, signage, and prints stay looking their best, please follow these simple care instructions.

Vehicle & Window Decals

  • Settling Period: Do not wash your vehicle for at least 7 days after installation. This allows the adhesive to fully "bite" and settle onto the surface.

  • Bubbling: Small air pockets may appear shortly after installation. This is a normal part of the process. The heat from the sun is the most effective way to draw these out, and they will typically disappear on their own over time.

  • Washing: We recommend regular hand washing with warm, soapy water. Use a non-abrasive, soft liquid soap and rinse thoroughly.

  • Avoid Abrasives: Never use rough scrubbing tools, scouring pads, or abrasive chemicals, as these will scratch and dull the vinyl.

  • High-Pressure Washers: Avoid using high-pressure water directly on the edges of the decals. High pressure can force the edges to lift and significantly shorten the life of your signage.

  • Automated Car Washes: These are not recommended. The mechanical brushes can catch the fine edges of your lettering or graphics and cause permanent damage.

  • Rear Wipers: If your decal is applied to a rear window, it is recommended to avoid using the rear wiper to prevent friction wear on the vinyl edges.

ACP (Aluminum Composite) Signage

  • Cleaning: Wipe the surface with a clean, damp microfiber cloth.

  • Chemicals: Avoid using strong solvents or citrus-based cleaners, as these can affect the longevity of the print or the bond of the vinyl to the panel.

  • Storage: If not yet installed, store your ACP panels flat to prevent warping or corner damage.

Birth Detail & Custom Prints

  • Handling: Always handle prints by the edges to avoid getting oils from your skin on the ink.

  • Sunlight: To prevent fading over the years, avoid hanging your prints in areas that receive constant, direct afternoon sunlight.

  • Moisture: Keep paper-based prints in a dry environment and away from areas with high humidity, like bathrooms, unless they are professionally framed and sealed.
